2006--Ye, Jinpeng

Professor and master supervisor Ye, Jinpeng, male, born in 1957, graduated from Zhenjiang Institute of Agricultural Mechanization (now Jiangsu University), and has been granted with the Special Government Allowance from the State Council since 2006. He is currently the Chief Expert of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences (CAAMS), and the Chief Engineer of China National Packaging and Food Machinery Corporation, CAAMS. In addition, he is the Executive Board Member of Research Association of China Association of Animal By-Product Processing, the Vice Director of Animal Products Processing Engineering Committee, the Vice President of China Meat Industry Association and Vice Director of Meat Machinery Committee of China Food and Packaging Machinery Industry Association.

With high reputation in the industry, he has long been engaged in research on food machinery, livestock and poultry product processing, industry standards, and equipment development and engineering design. He presided over industry standards of the Ministry of Agriculture including “Poultry Scalding Equipment”, “Poultry De-Feathering Equipment”, “Pig Scalding Equipment”, “Pig Dehairing Equipment”. He presided over the projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology on Key Technology and Equipment Development of Livestock and Poultry Slaughtering and Processing, and the “8th Five-Year” key project of Research and Development of Poultry Slaughtering and Processing Technology and Equipment of the National Economic Commission, with promotion of nearly 100 sets of in more than 10 provinces and cities in the country. In addition, he has also undertaken more than 20 large and medium-sized projects on livestock and poultry processing engineering. The poultry (chicken) slaughtering complete sets of equipment was awarded with the third level of National Spark Prize and the second level of Scientific and Technological Progress Prize of National Machinery Committee. The meat rabbit processing project won the Third Prize of Science and Technology Progress of National Foreign Economic Ministry. The project of Key Technology and Equipment Development of Livestock and Poultry Slaughtering and Processing received the second award on Science and Technology Progress of China Machinery Industry.
