2002--Wang, Zequn

Prof. Wang, Zequn, born in 1963, received his Master Degree from Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences (CAAMS). In 2001, he received the government special allowance of the State Council. He is now the Master Supervisor of CAAMS.

He has been mainly engaged in the research, product development and promotion of new technologies application in field harvesting machinery, with profound attainments in harvesting machinery. He took in charge of many national level projects as Development of Cotton Picker Matching with Tractor, Development of Medium Size Self-propelled Silage Harvester, Development of Head Feed Combine Harvester, and Development of Self-propelled Row Independent Silage Harvester with Corn Cutting Bar. Other projects he assumed are Several Products Development of Wheat and Rice Combine Harvester Matching with Large, Medium and Small-sized Tractors, Development of Large Cotton Picker, Development of One Row Potato Excavator, Development of Four-row Potato Planter, and Development of Half-track Tractor. The Key Technology and Equipment of Agricultural Moderate Scale Management won the First Prize of Machinery Industry Technology Progress; Self-propelled Row Independent Silage Harvester with Corn Cutting Bar won the Second Prize of Machinery Industry Technology Progress; Wheat and Rice Combine Harvester Matching with Small Four-wheel Tractors won the Third Prize of Award for Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Mechanical; and Head Feed Combine Harvester Development won the Third Prize of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology. He has obtained 13 national patents, and published 7 papers.
