CAAMS has strong force in the field of grasslands construction and science and technology development in animal husbandry engineering. We have formed disciplines with all kinds of categories of technologies and equipment that could cope with the grasslands construction and grasslands improvement, forage harvesting and storage technology and equipment, forage seed processing technology and machinery, forage preparing and further processing technology and equipment, straw fodder technology and equipment, livestock product collection and further processing technology and machinery, livestock and poultry raising technology and machinery, wind energy and solar energy application technology and equipment.
Huhehote Branch Research Institute under the leadership of CAAMS is specialized in R&D of technology and equipment of animal husbandry and livestock products further processing and it is also one of the earliest institutes to start researching the comprehensive utilization of wind energy and solar energy. It is the centralized managing unit for the national animal husbandry machinery'----industry and the Livestock Machinery Branch Society of Chinese Society for Agricultural Machinery and China Wind Energy Machinery Standardization Technique Commission are also affiliated to that institute. The Quality Monitoring and Testing Center of Livestock Equipment of Machinery Industry and Quality Monitoring and Testing Center of Wind Energy Machinery all located in the institute. In 40 years, it accomplished over 762 scientific R&D of many kinds and won 83 science and technological prizes of national, provincial levels, it made outstanding contribution to the development of animal husbandry and livestock mechanization in our country. |
